Stylish small beveled edge floating shelf, finished in a matte white paint 250mm wide x 200mm deep x 32mm in thickness. Bracket is included plus all screw and plug fixings for fitting to solid brick/cement type walls. For fixing to a cavity gyprock type wall Hollow wall fixings are available here Use a minimum of 4 per bracket (so 4 per shelf). The maximum weight capacity of floating shelves is only achieved when fitted correctly into good condition solid brick walls or the wooden studs in a cavity type wall. When fitting to gyprock sheet walls use wall anchors code HW2SIL (we do not recommend wall mates type hollow wall anchors for fitting floating shelf brackets) and if possible fit one of the bracket fixing holes to a wall stud if the wall stud coincides with the shelf bracket/shelf mounting position on the wall. We recommend that floating shelves should be fitted by an experienced shelving installer using the recommended wall fixings to suit the wall type that the shelf is being installed onto. A correctly fitted bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods. The installer must check that before installing the shelf onto the bracket.
