Floating Shelf Bracket Base Size 188x20x2mm

This smaller floating shelf bracket can suit a floating shelf in size 250-300mm in length, 200 - 250mm in depth, and a minimum of 25mm up to 40-45mm in thickness (so the brackets base can be rebated into the rear edge of your custom shelf) The steel bracket is screwed to the wall using fixings commensurate with your wall type (there are 7 predrilled holes in bracket base, extra holes can be drilled as required) and your custom shelf fitted to the tube supports after the shelf has been rebated to accept the brackets base part and 2 clearance holes have been bored dead straight into the rear of the shelf to suit the rod spacing and diameter and length of the shelf support rods. The bracket base piece is 188mm long x 20mm deep and is 2.5mm in thickness. The bracket support tubes are 12.5mm in diameter and 135mm long measured from front face of base.6 holes are provided for fixing to the wall, however other holes can be drilled if required to coincide with a stud in a hollow cavity type wall.(recommended for best weight capacity) Note the weight capacity of this bracket depends entirely on wall type, wall fixings and the size of the custom shelf being fitted using this floating shelf bracket. (deeper floating shelves will have lower weight capacity) More than one bracket can be used for fitting longer shelves, and good quality hollow wall anchors can be used if fitting to cavity type walls available here. Minimum of 5 are required per bracket. When fitting into gyprock/drywall sheet, the weight capacity of the bracket will be dependent on the strength of the wall sheet. A correctly fitted bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods.
