Floating Shelf Bracket Base Size 360x20mm

Please consider the actual weight of your shelf when calculating the total weight capacity required for your custom shelf install. Suits a thinner floating shelf size approximately 400-500mm in length, a maximum of 200mm to 250mm in depth, (distance out from the wall) and 25mm to 40mm in thickness. The brackets base piece is 360mm long x 20mm deep and is 2.5mm thickness steel, the bracket support tubes are 12.5mm in diameter, and 133mm long measured from front face of base. The bracket is screwed securely to your wall using correct fixings to suit your wall type and weight capacity required, and your pre drilled/bored custom floating shelf is fitted onto the tube support rods. The rear of your custom shelf has to be rebated so the bracket base is hidden when the shelf is fitted to the wall. The shelf can be secured to the bracket utilising the two provided holes in the tubes, alternatively wrapping masking tape around the tubes or an adhesive or silicone can be used. Please note the support tubes have a built in slight upward angle to help compensate for any shelf droop when shelf is loaded up. 7 holes are provided for fixing to the wall, however other holes can be drilled if required (recommended) to coincide with wooden studs in a hollow cavity type wall. Please note the weight capacity of this bracket depends entirely on the wall type, fixings used and size of shelf, particularly the depth of shelf being fitted using this floating shelf bracket. More than one bracket can be used for fitting longer shelves. Hollow wall anchors can be used if fitting to cavity type walls available here. Minimum of 5 are required per bracket. Weight capacity of the bracket will be dependent on the strength of the gyprock/wall sheeting, and the size, particularly the depth out from the wall surface of the custom shelf fitted using this bracket. A correctly installed bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods.
