Floating Shelf Bracket Base Size 45x30mm

New specification single floating shelf bracket with a weight capacity of up to 20kg per pair (the actual weight and size of your shelf must be considered) when fitting a 250mm deep shelf and the brackets are fitted correctly into a solid good condition brick/cement wall, brackets spaced at a maximum of 60cm apart. (using extra/multiple brackets will increase the weight capacity of floating shelves).The bracket base size is 45mm wide x 30mm deep x 2.5 mm thick steel with 4 slotted fixing holes (to allow small adjustment when fitted). The unique base size allows the bracket to be fitted to the wooden studs in a cavity wall. The tube support is 200 mm long x 16 mm diameter.( the rod can be cut down to suit shallower depth shelves ). Bore holes to house the bracket tubes dead straight into your custom shelves using a horizontal borer or a drill press and rebate the rear of the shelf to accomodate the brackets base piece. Suitable for custom floating shelves of any length, and of thickness 30 to 35 mm and above with a maximum out from the wall depth of 300mm . (30cm) (please note the weight capacity of the brackets decreases as your shelf depth is increased ). For long shelves it is highly recommended to use one bracket per stud in a hollow wall installation, or one bracket every 500 mm spacing in a solid/brick type wall. (the more brackets used the higher the weight capacity.) Hollow wall anchors can be used if fitting to gyprock cavity type walls available here . Minimum of 2 are required per bracket, please note the brackets weight capacity will then only be as strong as the strength of the wall sheeting . A correctly installed bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rod.
