Floating shelf to suit DVD players, digital boxes, play stations, set top box units, computer printers etc. Size is 45cm long x 30cm deep x 5cm in thickness and the finish is hard wearing high gloss black paint. Bracket is included plus all fixings for fitting to brick/masonry type walls. Perfect to position under wall mounted LCD or plasma screens. Also available in 90cmx30cm x 50mm thickness and 120cmx30cmx50mm . This floating shelf is gloss painted in black polyurethane paint giving it a high quality visual finish, there are no unsightly visible laminate joints between junction of front face and top and underside of the shelf. Full weight capacity of this floating shelf is only achieved when fitted into good condition solid/brick type walls or to studs/noggin in a hollow wall if wall stud's are positioned to suit the bracket dimensions and also the actual required position of the shelf on the wall. Hollow wall fixings available here Use a minimum of 5 per bracket (5 per shelf). Weight capacity of the shelf is then dependent on the strength of the gyprock sheeting but expect up to 10kg of evenly distributed load on the shelf when fitted by an experienced shelving installer using the HW3 anchors. A correctly installed bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods. The installer must check this before fitting the shelf to the installed bracket.
