Latest release is a modern new glass shelf and slot bracket kit imported from Europe. The glass is 10mm thick for that high quality visual appeal, coupled with a high tech, high weight capacity extruded anodised aluminium slot bracket. Glass size is 900mm wide x 200mm deep and 10mm in thickness and the bracket is 900mm long and accepts the 10mm thick glass shelf into the slot, giving the modern floating effect. Simple to install into solid brick/cement type walls with screws and plugs supplied, or into cavity type walls using hollow wall anchors here. 4 anchors are required per bracket. Ideally try to locate fixings to wall studs in a cavity wall plus extra holes can be carefully drilled into the bracket to coincide with stud positioning. Please note if fitted only into gyprock/drywall sheet the weight capacity of the kit would be dependent on the strength of the wall (gyprock) sheeting but expect up to 10kg of evenly distributed load when correctly fitted by an experienced shelving installer, using fixings to suit the wall type.
