Mini tube brackets are Ideal for use with glass , laminated, or timber shelves from 4-16mm in thickness and a maximum shelf depth of 20cm .(distance out from the wall). Brackets do not rust and can be used in wet areas, such as bathrooms, shower enclosures and laundries. Any length shelf can be fixed with these brackets which can be fitted into solid walls, (screws and plugs are supplied) or into wooden studs in a hollow gyprock type wall. Space the brackets at a maximum of 40cm apart for the best weight capacity, or to suit stud positions in a cavity wall. Mini tube brackets can be fitted into the gyprock sheet on a hollow cavity type wall using the correct fixings available here . (1 hollow wall fixing is required per tube bracket) Note the weight capacity of the shelf would then be as per the weight rating of the hollow fixings used and the strength of the wall sheet but expect up to 10kg per pair of brackets when correctly spaced fitting up to a 20cm depth shelf and installed correctly by an experienced shelving installer.
