High quality Oak textured veneer wood feel and look laminated floating shelf made in Germany , the size is 1150x250x50mm in thickness. Brackets are supplied , plus screw and plug fixings for a solid brick type wall. Ideally for the best weight capacity this floating shelf should be fitted to good condition solid brick/cement type walls, however it can be fitted to hollow cavity gyprock type walls using the correct fixings. This floating shelf has a weight capacity of up to 30kg when fitted correctly to a good condition brick/masonry type wall using the supplied European made screws and wall plugs, fitted by an experienced shelving installer. The floating shelf can also be fitted to cavity gyprock walls using these hollow wall anchors here. Use 2 per bracket so 4 per shelf. Weight capacity would then be dependent on the strength of the gyprock wall sheeting, but expect up to 10kg when fitted correctly by an experienced shelving installer using the HW4 anchors. We do not recommend using Òwall matesÓ brand hollow wall anchors for fitting floating shelf brackets. A correctly fitted bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods.
