Deeper floating shelf (30cm) to support, display and store audio equipment such as DVD players, Foxtel boxes etc. (check the depth required also considering the cables and plugs in the rear of the audio equipment being mounted) The shelf size is 450x300 deepx50mm in thickness. Available in high gloss Black or high gloss white polyurethane painted with the wall mounting bracket included plus all screws and wall plugs for fitting to solid masonry type walls . Small cut out in rear of shelf as featured in one image to run small cables through. Images feature 1 x 450x300x50mm thick high gloss White media shelves and 2 x 900x300x50mm thick media shelf also available on this website. Hollow wall fixings available here for fitting the shelf to gyprock sheet, use a minimum of 5 per bracket (5 per shelf). Please note when fitting to cavity walls using only hollow wall fixings the weight capacity of the shelf would be limited to the strength of the gyprock sheet but up to 10kg is possible when fitted correctly by an experienced shelving installer using the HW3 hollow wall anchors . Extra holes can be drilled in the bracket base to coincide with wall stud positions. ( highly recommended) A correctly installed bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods. The installer must check this before fitting the shelf onto the bracket.
