Do not damage the insulating nylon washers fitted to the screw fixing holes in the LED strip when attaching the bracket to the wall. Stunning glass shelf kit imported from Europe, with the screws and plugs supplied for fitting to solid brick/masonry type walls. The kit can also be fitted to gyprock cavity type wall using high quality wall anchors click here . Use 4 per 800mm bracket/kit, please note the weight capacity of the kit will be dependent on the strength of the wall (gyprock) sheeting but expect up to 10kg when fitted by an experienced shelving installer using the HW1 anchors. . The safety toughened glass shelf is 800x200x8mm in thickness with an extruded Aluminium matte silver finish shelf slot bracket. Low voltage LED. lights contained in the bracket can be turned on or off by a small switch on the end of the bracket (switch is on the left hand end of the shelf when viewed from the front). LED lights are powered by 4 AA batteries, not included. Batteries are easily replaced by removing the end cap on the end right hand end of the shelf slot bracket. Great for use in bathrooms, in bar areas or fitted in bedrooms to add a soft lighting effect. Batteries are long lasting as LED lights have small power usage (approximately 0.8 watts) and are safe in damp/wet areas (do not fit inside shower cubicles ). Weight capacity of up to 15kg when fitted to good condition masonry walls, and up to 10kg when fitted correctly to gyprock cavity type walls by an experienced shelving installer using the HW1 hollow wall anchors. NB. Do not break or split the nylon insulating washers which surround each of the fixing holes in the LED strip when fitting the shelf bracket to your wall.
