Stylish Beveled edge matte black lacquered lighter duty floating shelf with a thickness of 30mm (3cm) which gives the shelf a more subtle and minimalist look than some thicker floating shelves. The shelf size is 60cm long x 20cm deep x 3cm thick. Bracket is supplied, plus screws and plugs for fitting to solid brick/cement type walls. If fitting into a cavity wall Hollow wall fixings are available here . Use a minimum of 5 per bracket (5 per shelf), please note the weight capacity of the shelf will be dependent on the strength of the wall sheeting if fitting only into gyprock/drywall sheet but expect up to 5kg of evenly spread load on the shelf when fitted correctly by an experienced shelving installer using the recommended wall fixings to suit the wall type. We do not recommend using wall mates type hollow wall fixings for installing floating shelf brackets. Correctly installed floating shelf brackets will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods. The installer should check this when the bracket is installed onto the wall surface.
