This high quality shelf kit comprises of an extruded anodised aluminium shelf slot bracket, with a European made white 450x300x25mm thick Sumo shelf. Perfect for audio visual equipment such as DVD players, set top box, foxtel units, amplifiers, tuners, wall projectors etc. Slot bracket is easy on the eye, modern, discreet and extremely strong. European made shelf is 45cm long x 30cm deep and is 25mm in thickness. The slot bracket gives the shelf the floating effect and the shelf simply slots into the 25mm shelf slot, the bracket has a weight capacity of up to 20kg when fitted correctly into a good condition solid brick/cement type walls using the provided screws and wall plugs, (image below) alternatively the slot bracket kit can be fitted to hollow/cavity walls with correct wall fixings see here, use 3 per bracket. There are no visible screw fixings as the sumo shelf hides the screw heads when it is inserted into the 25mm slot. When fitting onto gyprock sheet / cavity drywalls using the heavy duty wall anchors, the weight capacity would be dependent on the strength of the wall sheet but expect up to 10 to 15kg of evenly distributed load on the shelf when fitted correctly by an experienced shelving installer using the recommended heavy duty wall anchors.
