Exclusive to shelving shop are the stylish and strong belt brackets. Simple to fit, the belt brackets will support either end of a 300mm deep x 25mm thickness shelf, or add additional strength to a longer shelf by adding another belt bracket in the centre of your shelf. Shelves can also be joined within a belt bracket, grub screws are supplied with the brackets to clamp the two adjoining/butting shelves within the bracket. Belt brackets can be fitted with the vertical support part above or below the shelf. Use belt brackets to fit the European made Sumo shelves 45cm , 80cm or 1150cm long x 30cm deep and 25mm thick shelves available on this website here in black or white finish. Weight capacity up to 40kg per pair when fitted to a good condition solid/cement wall using the correct wall fixings which are supplied . Belt brackets can be fitted into wooden studs in hollow cavity walls or into gyprock sheet using correct wall fixings see here . Weight capacity of your shelf would then depend on the strength of the drywall sheeting (gyprock) but expect up to 15kg when fitted correctly by an experienced shelving installer using the recommended hollow wall anchors .
