Four of the latest, high quality beveled edge floating shelves make up this exclusive shelving shop quad shelf deal, the sizes of the shelves are 1200mm, 1000mm, 800mm and 600mm long all x 250mm deep and 38mm thick. Wall brackets supplied and fixings for fitting to a solid brick cement type wall. Ideally the floating shelves should be fitted to solid brick/cement walls for the best weight capacity, however they can be fitted to hollow gyprock type walls using the correct fixings, however please note the maximum weight capacity is only achieved when fitting to solid walls or to the studs in a hollow cavity wall (providing the wall studs coincide with the bracket and shelf positioning). Drill extra holes in the brackets base piece to line up with stud positions as required. (highly recommended) . Hollow wall fixings are available here, use a minimum of 5 per bracket (5 per shelf so 20 are required for the quad deal ). The weight capacity of each of the shelves when fitted only into gyprock sheeting can be up to 10kg when fitted by an experienced shelving installer using the recommended wall fixings. We do not recommend wall mates type hollow wall fixings for fitting floating shelf brackets. A correctly fitted floating shelf bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the brackets rods.
