Stylish, thinner, narrow floating shelf with an angled (beveled edge) front face, the size is 800x200x32mm thick. Bracket included plus screws and plugs are supplied for fitting to solid brick/cement type walls. The quoted weight capacity of up to 10kg of evenly distributed load on the shelf is only achieved when fitted correctly to good condition solid brick type walls, or into the wooden studs in a cavity type wall. Extra holes can be drilled into the bracket base to coincide with stud positions, (recommended). See the close up detail of beveled edge profile and note the shelf is only 3.2 cm in thickness which gives a nice easy on the eye minimalist visual appeal. Fit to gyprock cavity type walls using the Hollow wall fixings available here . Use a minimum of 5 per bracket (5 per shelf). If fitting only into gyprock sheet, the weight capacity of the shelf will be dependent on the strength of the wall sheeting but expect up to 5kg when fitted correctly by an experienced shelving installer. Correctly installed floating shelf brackets will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods. The installer should check this when the bracket is installed onto the wall surface.
