Stylish, floating shelf with an angled (beveled edge), new size is 800x250x38mm thick. Bracket included plus screws and plugs are supplied for fitting to solid brick/cement type walls. The quoted weight capacity of up to 15kg is only achieved when fitted correctly to good condition solid brick type walls, or into the wooden studs in a cavity type wall. (if the wooden stud positioning coincides with where the shelf is to be fitted) Fit to gyprock cavity type walls using the Hollow wall fixings available here . Use a minimum of 5 per bracket (5 per shelf). If fitting only into gyprock sheet, the weight capacity of the bracket/shelf will be dependent on the strength of the wall sheeting. A correctly fitted bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods. The installer must check this before fitting the shelf onto the bracket.
