Concealed bracket floating shelf. Shelf size is 600x300 deep x 50mm in thickness finished in high gloss white polyurethane paint. Wall mounting bracket is included, plus all screws and plugs for fitting to solid brick/cement type walls. Weight capacity of floating shelves is dramatically improved when fixing to a solid/brick type wall. When fixing to a hollow stud wall, it is recommended to fix at least one hole to a stud if possible, extra holes can be drilled into the bracket base to line up with stud positions if required (recommended). The floating shelf can be fitted to hollow cavity walls using our high quality hollow wall anchors available here. Minimum of 5 are required per shelf. Weight capacity can be up to 15kg of evenly distributed load on the shelf when fitted correctly by an experienced shelving installer using the HW3 wall anchors. We do not recommend wall mates type hollow wall anchors for fitting floating shelf brackets to gyprock walls. A correctly fitted bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods. The installer must check this before fitting the shelf onto the bracket.
