Concealed fixing floating shelf. The shelf size is 1500mm long x 250 deep x 50mm in thickness, and finished in Matte White paint which gives the shelf a smooth stylish finish without having visual laminate joins between the top, bottom and front surfaces . Bracket all screws and plugs are included for fitting to solid brick type walls. Weight capacity of this shelf can be up to 15KG of evenly distributed load when fitted correctly to good condition solid brick/masonry type walls. If fitted to cavity type walls fit to the wooden studs where possible for the best performance and best weight capacity. Extra holes can be drilled in the bracket base piece to coincide with stud positioning (highly recommended) . This floating shelf can be fitted to gyprock hollow cavity walls using our high quality hollow wall anchors available here. Minimum of 5 are required per shelf, fixing points detailed below. The weight capacity can then be up to 10 to 15kg per shelf when fitted correctly by an experienced shelving installer using the HW3 wall anchors. We do not recommend using wall mates type hollow wall anchors for fitting floating shelf brackets to gyprock sheet. A correctly installed bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods.
