New is a high gloss finish floating shelf which features a pull out drawer for storage of items such as keys, mobile phones, small books etc. Ideal for use as a bedside table for bedside storage. The shelf size is 450 x 250 x 80 mm thick, the internal dimensions of the drawer are 290x190x50mm deep, finished in high gloss White lacquer. Ideally the storage floating shelf should be fitted to solid brick walls with the brackets and screw fixings that are supplied with the shelf kit.
However the shelf can also be fitted to cavity walls using these hollow wall anchors here. use 2 per bracket so 4 per shelf. Please note the weight capacity of the brackets/shelf will be limited by the strength of the wall sheeting (or the fixings used), but expect up to 10kg when fitted correctly by an experienced shelving installer using the HW4 wall anchors. A correctly installed bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods. The installer must check this before fitting the shelf onto the bracket.
