Each shelf in this triple deal is 1200 x 250 x 38mm in thickness, finished in matte white paint with the brackets included and all the fixings for fitting to solid brick/cement type walls. Weight capacity of up to 15kg of evenly distributed load on each shelf when fitted correctly into good condition solid/brick walls using the correct fixings or if fitted directly into the wooden studs in a hollow cavity type wall.(extra holes can be drilled into the bracket base to coincide with stud position as required), (highly recommended) .These floating shelves can be fitted to hollow cavity walls using our high quality hollow wall anchors available here. Minimum of 5 are required per shelf so 15 per triple deal (as per detailed in the fixing image below). The weight capacity of the shelves would then be dependent on the strength of the wall sheeting but expect up to 10kg of evenly distributed load when fitted correctly by an experienced shelving installer using HW3 anchors . We do not recommend using wall mates type hollow wall anchors for fitting floating shelf brackets. A correctly fitted bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods. The installer must check this before fitting the shelf onto the fixed wall bracket.
