A correctly installed shelf bracket installed using the recommended supplied wall fixings for masonry walls or the hollow wall fixings HW4 anchors will have no visible movement between the bracket base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket support rod. New is a Luna Matte black painted finish floating shelf made in Germany, is 445x250x50mm in thickness. 2 Brackets are supplied plus wall and plug fixings for installing into a solid brick/masonry type wall. For the best weight capacity this floating shelf should be fitted to solid brick/masonry walls, however it can be fitted to hollow gyprock type walls using correct fixings recommended by shelvingshop. This floating shelf has a weight capacity of up to 30kg when fitted correctly to a good condition brick/masonry type wall using the supplied European made screws and wall plugs and fitted by an experienced shelving installer. The floating shelf can also be fitted to cavity gyprock walls using these hollow wall anchors here. Use 2 per bracket so use 4 per shelf. Weight capacity would then be dependent on the strength of the gyprock wall sheeting, but expect up to 10kg when fitted correctly by an experienced shelving installer using the recommended HW4 anchors. We do not recommend using "wall mates" brand hollow wall anchors for fitting floating shelf brackets.
