Floating Shelf Bracket Anodised Steel (Pair)
Floating Shelf Bracket Anodised Steel (Pair) is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
A correctly installed shelf bracket installed using the included brick/masonry wall fixings or the hollow wall HW4 anchors will have no visible movement between the bracket base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket support rod. Pair of unique adjustable angle (approx. +/-10 degrees) individual floating shelf brackets recommended for solid brick/masonry wall fixing with up to 15 KG weight capacity, or hollow wall fixing using these anchors, click here 2 are required per bracket. Weight capacity would then be up to 5 KG depending on the strength of the gyprock sheeting and the size of the shelf being fitted. The bracket base size is 75mm wide x 16mm deep, galvanised steel with 2 fixing holes spaced at 55mm centres and has to be rebated in to the rear of the shelf. Fixing holes are slotted to allow further fine adjustment when screw fixing to the wall. Your custom shelf has to be rebated to hide the brackets base plate and holes bored dead straight into your shelf to fit the bracket rod, ideally using a drill press or a horizontal borer. The angle of the support rod can be adjusted by tightening or loosening the small screws in the bracket base piece to ensure shelf is at an ideal angle to the adjacent wall surface. The solid steel support rod is 110mm long x 11mm diameter. Suitable for your custom manufactured floating shelves of thickness 20mm (2cm) and above and with a maximum depth of 250mm. Use a minimum of 2 brackets per shelf, we recommend at least one bracket is used every 500mmm spacing in a good condition solid/brick type wall. Ensure brackets are fitted the correct way up to allow the angle of the support rod to be adjusted as required. A correctly installed bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods. Adjusting the bracket angle will not compensate for brackets which are incorrectly fitted. (loose on the wall causing the installed custom shelf to droop or sag). The installer must check that before fitting the shelf to the brackets
