(check total depth required including cables and connecting plugs in the rear of your audio unit) The shelf size is 900x300 deep x 50mm thickness finished in high gloss Black or high gloss White, with the wall bracket included plus all screws and plugs are also included for installing to solid brick/cement type walls. Weight capacity can be up to 25kg when fitted correctly to good condition solid/brick/concrete walls, or if fitted into the studs in a hollow cavity wall. Extra holes should be drilled into the bracket base if required to coincide with the stud positioning. (highly recommended) Small cut out is provided in the rear of the shelf to run small cables through. This floating shelf can be fitted to hollow cavity walls using our high quality hollow wall anchors available here. Minimum of 5 are required per shelf bracket. Weight capacity will be dependent on the strength of the wall sheet if fitted to gyprock wall using the HW3 hollow wall anchors , but expect up to 10kg when fitted correctly by an experienced floating shelving installer . (we do not recommend using wall mates type hollow wall anchors for fitting floating shelf brackets) A correctly fitted bracket will have no visible movement between the brackets base plate and the wall surface when load is applied to the bracket rods. The installer must check this before fitting the shelf onto the bracket.
